In the summer of 8th Grade, we founded MintBox in the Avenues Mastery program. It was the height of the pandemic at the time, and we were stuck all day in our houses, bored. We wanted to do something entrepreneurial, while also reconnecting with nature. After some talks with gardening experts and some of our teachers; we got to work, teaching ourselves how to garden with the materials available in our apartments. We created MintBox to share our experiences with you, striving to simplify the gardening process for NYC apartment dwellers.
